Brohuset and Hammershus cater to all visitors, with disabled access, wheelchair-friendly paths, and parking for those with mobility needs. Pets are welcome but must be kept on a leash. For six hours, parking at Brohuset costs 30 DKK, and there is enough for about 300 vehicles. The tourist center and Hammershus’ continuing repair are partly supported by parking fees. Recharging stations for electric vehicles are also available and are run by FDM/Spirii.

The Norwegian Nature Agency and Museum Sydstdanmark have collaborated to develop an exhibition that explores Hammershus’s history, from its building in the High Middle Ages to its modern restorations.
